Bitless Bridle Equestrian Centre

Bitless Bridle Equestrian Centre, just outside Talsarn on the B4337 between Lampeter & Aberystwyth (map), is dedicated to Natural Horsemanship. Situated on the south-facing slope of Trichrug at over 1,000 feet above sea level there are fantastic views over the surrounding countryside right out to the Brecon Beacons. The Equestrian Centre is next door to a regular feeding place for Red Kites where 200 or more can be seen circling overhead at feeding times.

We use and teach a more sympathetic way of handling & riding horses using the pain-free communication of the Dr Cook Bitless Bridle. Indoor / outdoor tuition (including jumping), hacks, pub & picnic rides; all abilities catered for, nervous riders are especially welcome. Junior riding club & pony club (using our horses & ponies) are held at weekends. Horses & ponies available to loan on a monthly basis on the HOWW scheme.

Our aim is to provide a fun, safe environment for all clients and staff to ensure full enjoyment of our riding school and facilities.Lessons are offered as private, semi-private, group or hack lessons. Holiday clubs and corporate team building days are also available.

Middle Harling Riding School is approved by the Association Of British Riding Schools and a registered Pony Club Centre. The riding centre is also home to The Buckenham House (Riding Centre For The Disabled Group).

Our well-mannered horses and ponies are suitable for a wide variety of clients from small children to mature adults of all levels and capabilities. We are able to provide footwear and riding hats as required.

Keswick Riding Stables

We are a well established, family-run riding school which has been teaching people to ride for over 20 years. We are based on the outskirts of Norwich and have two experienced instructors, and many well schooled horses and ponies. Lessons are available for people of varying abilities, from the complete novice to the experienced rider. The school is open all week, with the exception of Mondays and Fridays – our busiest and most popular period being the weekend.

As well as working with individuals and groups of individuals, we have previously worked with group bookings – making horse riding available to groups and organisations including the scouts.

Willow Farm

Willow farm is a caring family-run school, approved and inspected by ELDC and the Association of British Riding Schools to teach children and Adults.

In the Riding School we take children from 3years old and have good facilities for teaching – 15acres of grassland riding, two all weather floodlit rubber surfaced schools, gymkhana lanes and showjumps. Pupils are prepared for ABRS Progressive Riding and Stable Management Tests and we organise lectures, course days, fun days, and competitions in school holidays. Each year we have an annual prizegiving and party in November in which pupils receive awards for highest pass marks in tests or most improvement in their age groups etc. This event raises money for BBC Children in Need. Our pupils also Carol sing at Christmas for the local Chapel, and we have an ongoing collection of used Postage stamps for Bransby Home of Rest for Horses at Lincoln.
