Archery Experience at Gorcombe
Activity Summary
A great addition to any multi activity day and a nice relaxing sport by itself. The ancient sport of archery has tested man’s skill and courage for centuries from back in the time when facing heavily armoured knights and charging horses to slightly more modern day hunting various wild beasts throughout America and Africa. Don’t worry, you won’t have to put yourself though any dangers like this, but you will feel the excitement and appreciate the skill as you release your arrows in to the targets a distance away.
You will wonder how Robin Hood ever got so good or if the stories have been exaggerated a little!
This is truly a very skillful sport and our own qualified instructor will instruct you as he shows you the risks that accompany this sport and the enjoyment as you master it.
Of course he will score it for you to determine the true William Tell of your group, but don’t worry, the loser won’t have to put an apple on their head!

Dependent on group size, minimum of 1 hour.
Requirements
All you need to bring to take part in archery is yourself. Wear outdoorsy clothes and sensible shoes. No previous experience is needed, as full tuition from the trained instructors will be provided.

Our minimum age for Archery is 8 years. There are no height or weight restrictions.
