Horse Riding Children’s Party – Carrington Riding Centre
Activity Summary
At Carrington Riding Centre we offer a special kind of party for your child’s special day. We understand how important it is to make your child’s birthday party as memorable and enjoable as possible. We offer a unique experience for all children in a safe and friendly environment. Our Pony parties include a 1/2 hour riding lesson, 1/2 stable management session where each child gets to interact our ponies (grooming etc) and the use of our cafe area for the children to enjoy a selection of tasty goodies! If you prefer, you are very welcome to use our kitchen facilities and cater the party yourselves. Each child will receive a voucher to return for a free introductory lesson!
Location
Group Size
Minimum group size of 6. If there are more than 8 children they will be split into two groups for two seperate half hour lessons which will run at the same time. Numbers can be increased up to a maximum of 18, by arrangement and accompanied by the relevant deposit. Parents are welcome to assist in leading their children during the riding lesson
Session Time and Availability
Session lasts for an hour and a half. Parties can be held on any week day at any time, Saturdays at 1pm or Sundays at 1pm or 3.30pm. Please book early to avoid disappointment. A non-refundable deposit of £40.00 per is required to reserve a party.
Requirements
Safety hats will be provided for all riders. All riders must wear long trousers and sturdy shoes with a smooth sole and small heel. Leaders must wear full flat shoes suitable for a soft sand surface. For health and safety reasons open-toed shoes are not to be worn. Riders who are inappropriately dressed will not be allowed to ride. Please ask guests to arrive 10 minutes early to allow time to prepare them for riding at the allocated time. The minimum age for riders is four, though younger children are, of course, welcome to attend to party.

Only open to children. Children are considered to must be under 16 years of age. The minimum age for riders is 4.

Option 1: £12.50 per child
Option 2: £15.50 per child (includes catering)
Our menu includes chicken, ham and cheese sandwiches, individual cheeses, crisps, individual fruit platters, cakes, biscuits and soft drinks. With catered parties we also provide cake for attending adults, a range of soft drinks, tea and coffee can be purchased
