Windsurfing is one of the most exhilarating activities. It is an exciting, challenging sport, free from many of the constraints associated with other watersports. With a range of equipment, participants are able to achieve success and navigate around a course.

Session Time and Availability
Option 1 (2 ½ hours) Designed for the absolute beginner. Discover how much fun windsurfing can be. This session can be taken as a standalone taster session, and also forms the first of 3 modules leading to the RYA Start Windsurfing Award should you wish to carry on. Course usually runs on a Saturday morning.
Option 2 (2 ½ hours) Aims to provide a safe, fun environment to build up your sailing confidence and introduce the concepts of steering, tacking, gybing and methods of self-rescue. Course usually runs on a Saturday afternoon.
Option 3 (full day) Aims to improve confidence of all points of sail for RYA Start Windsurfing and how to assemble board and rig. Students will be encouraged to free sail around pre-determined points. Course usually runs all day Sunday.

None
Restrictions
Young people under 16 years should be accompanied by a responsible adult (over 18 years). The minimum age for attending a windsurfing course is 12 years.
All courses are subject to sufficient numbers and suitable weather conditions and are non-residential. Non-refundable deposits are required at time of booking and the full amount is payable before the start of the course.
